The Mountaineers (28-11, 8-7) were limited to seven hits, including a two-run home run by DH Jordon Yost and solo shots by Justin Parks and Jedd Gyorko in the first inning.Eric Maust pitched seven innings. The right-hander allowed all seven hits and the four runs, struck out six and walked none. Three relievers shared work in the last two innings. The loss was charged to WVU starter Billy Gross (52). The sophomore right-hander surrendered nine hits and five runs, walked five and fanned only one. Matt Yurish, Chris Enourarto and Eric Saffel pitched in relief. Parks was the only Mountaineer to get more than one hit, finishing with three. In support of Mills’ two big blows, catcher Sean Gaston had three hits and centerfielder A.J.
