Woohoo! My wife got a job!!! I'm not sure if I told everyone here, but in early March, my wife Shelly quit her job because of very poor working conditions - her boss was a complete ass and she was having to work about 60 hours each week (on salary). We talked about it and we agreed it would be okay if she quit. LUCKILY I was interviewed and hired for my new job within a week of her quitting and her income wasn't as important anymore. She was able to take some time off and just relax at home and regroup. She started her job search in late March and was hired by Chevron as a Project Coordinator/Business Analyst. They salary is fantastic! Almost a $15k raise from her previous job! This is SUCH fantastic news! We can pay down of our student loan debt, pay off our cars, and take a big chunk out of our home loan all within the next few years! It puts us in SUCH a great position to start and raise a family She starts on Tuesday of next week! Cheers to Shelly!
