Going to Methodist Conference at WVWC in Buckhannon. While the adults were in meetings, we kids spent our days in the pool, bowling alley, playing pinball, etc. It was always the first week after school, so it was like a present for getting thru the school year.

We lived way out in the woods... so we didn't have any neighbors meaning no otherneighborhood kids.. but my mom always made sure we had lots of things to do outside and keep us active.. we had a jumgle gyn and a badmitton set and a croquet set, A tether ball and a pool.. We were always outside.. but one of the best times was when the blackberries were ripe.. we had an acre patch of wild blackberries that was snuggled between two creeks.. and the backberries were huge and sweet.. we'd go pick tons of blackberries and my mom would make pies.. omg.. blackberry pie ala mode is the BOMB!
