OK, so it's not like today was shitty enough...

Just a few minutes ago, my best woman friend calls and wakes me up... expecting me to come pick her up from the bar!!! I've been giving her and her friends "sober rides" so they don't get knabbed for DUIs and all that horseshit for quite a while now... but tonight just sent me over the edge!

I told her on IM around 10pm that I was going to bed for the night in an effort to make sure my day didn't get shittier. Apparently, she missed my memo... because after receiving QUITE A FEW PHONE CALLS FROM HER on my WV number at 1.30am and in the process waking my angry ass up, I check my CO phone number and apparently, I've missed quite a few texts from her ranging from midnight to 1.30am! (Yes, I have 2 phone numbers... I knew I should have turned my phones off for the night.)

Who the hell does she think I am!? I am not her personal servant and will not just do anything she wants on command at any given time of the fucking day! What's really fucking bad is another one of her friends (a roommate that's a total whore) tries to make me take some of her other guy friends home (I have a rule: No other dudes in my car... my car, my rules) and just thinks I'll drive them home! I told her, "Hell no. If you and your fuckin random want a ride, call a cab!" I've had to tell her that several times last semester and once this semester.

Seriously, what else do I need to do/say to get across to them!? I'm heavily considering asking for more in return for these damn "drunk rides" or just telling them to kiss my ass altogether!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

...and they wonder why I'm so much more of an asshole this semester...

Hey Jim! That sucks about the late night cab call. It sounds like most of the time you don't mind doing it, and it's nice of you to help someone out. I'm glad they are calling someone for a ride as opposed to just jumping into a car and driving while plowed! But it's not your job to play taxi driver, unless you want to, or unless you told them you would before hand.

Either way, a couple of girls like calling you for a ride...just accidentally take them back to your place next time. It could be fun

Well, me and my friend had a talk about it today... I told her that if I didn't reply to an IM/text/call within 5 minutes... that's usually an indication that I am not available. Needless to say, we smoothed things over.

Doug, rest assured they're going to "accidentially" wind up here at The Best Apartment in the Universe one night (or more)... after all, they go to bars "to pick up boys" (their words, not mine) and each week, it's an epic failure of Rich Rodriguez-like proportions. Thanks for the idea... why the fuck do I not think of this stuff?

Well, tonight took a turn for the worst...

When I went to get them downtown around 1.45am, I was literally draggin ass and just wanted to get them home without incident... (yes, I was in an asshole mood because this A/C STILL isn't fixed and I fell asleep watching Pulp Fiction, sweating like a prostitute in church.) I took 5 girls downtown... one of 'em was so trashed she couldn't tell her ass from her elbows.

My one good friend trusted me with her keys so she wouldn't lose them. Well, on my way out, I forgot to get them... I left them here by mistake. My fault. When she asked me where her keys were, I told her I left them in my apartment, and we would swing by and get them and it wouldn't be a problem. Well, her and her 3 friends (the whore I talked about last week, another friend of mine, and her preppy friend who I hate anyway) are just being fuckin' loud and obnoxious, and on top of that, INSIST on listening to the worst music in the world: rap... on my fuckin radio!! Don't even know where the 5th one disappeared off to...

So, I'm in about the worst mood I could ever be in... and when we pull in to my apartment complex, I get to my apartment, grab her keys and head back out to my car. I get in, sit down, hand her keys over, then they all 4 bail out of my car!!!!! I see what they're doing, and said, "See you whores later!" After they get out of my car, I am no longer responsible for them. So whatever happened to them after that, I could careless!

Seriously... I'm at my wit's end with them!!! It seems the only time they want me around is when they need a ride to the bar (so they can pick up boys... yet they fail each week at that like Rich Rodriguez does at life in general)...
