Former walk-on fullback turned legend at WVU, Owen Schmitt, pleads guilty to a lesser charge of reckless driving. Schmitt will serve 24 hours of community service and get no jail time.
The former Mountaineer football standout had a blood alcohol level almost twice the legal limit when he was arrested in June. Schmitt is listed as the starting fullback for the Seahawks.
