Oh geesh...that's a hard one to pick...
Ok this is probably because I've only had it while drunk, but a slice of deep dish pepperoni from Chicago's Pizza. I believe there are a handful of locations, but the one on Sheffield a quarter mile or so South of Wrigley was my favorite after bar/after Cubs game spot.

There is a restaurant here in Florida called Bonefish Grill. The Bang Bang Shrimp there is really good.
Got to put a special mention in for mom's homemade spaghetti sauce. Mmm, Mmm good!!

ELP - I think Bonefish is a chain. There was one in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg that I used to visit.

I will agree with Doug. Deep dish pizza is the best. Giordano's, Nancy's, Edwardo's, Gino's East, Lou Malnati's, Connie's, Palermo's.

I don't think mom's homemade soup sounds Goofy. Mine made a vegetable beef soup that was really, really good. Moms just know how to do it up right.
