The Polar Bears continued their strong start at Saturday’s Mountaintop Combo at Preston High School, rolling to a firstplace finish. Fairmont Senior, when combining the boys’ and girls’ team totals, took second overall with 153 points. The host Knights won the event, tallying a score of 136. In the boys’ race, Fairmont Senior was the top West Virginia finisher, placing behind only Olentangy Liberty (Ohio).
