Fans fail to flock to NCAA game
By TERRY KOSHAN, Toronto Sun
Though it has not been announced officially, sources have indicated that the International Bowl, played the past four years at the Rogers Centre, is no more.
A few recent reports in the U.S. have said the game is done as well. The Mid-American Conference, which has sent a team to the International Bowl, instead will participate in the Humanitarian Bowl in Boise, Idaho, next season.
The Big East also has sent a team in past years to Toronto.
Fans haven’t flocked to the annual NCAA game, with just 22,185 showing up this past Jan. 2 to watch South Florida beat Northern Illinois 27-3.
Of the four games, the biggest crowd was in 2009, when the University at Buffalo participated, helping result in an attendance of 40,184.
Otherwise, the International Bowl, the only bowl game outside the U.S., has served as little more than a point of curiosity for fans.
International Bowl officials could not be reached for comment.

This one will be a Jeopardy "Daily Double" question/answer in 10 or so years.

I read a rumor that a new bowl is being formed to play in the new Yankee Stadium that will more than likely replace this one. It is supposed to be called the Pinstripe Bowl and will select from the same college conferences as the International Bowl did.
Good to see you back Jim. I was starting to wonder if you had a bad flight to Texas and decided to walk back. ;D

Haha, no man, I actually had a BLAST in San Antonio. I'm going back soon, too.

Very cool....I'm glad to hear the flight wasn't bad for you. I know you were kind of hesitant.

Yeah, I was. But, my fears were quickly dead once we were in the air and I had a hot-ass stewardess to look at on the way down to Houston. Ginger WITH a nice ass!
Plus, it also helps I had my iPhone with me to listen to music.
