West Virginia is not known as a hot bed for college football prospects, but each year a handful of prospects earn D-I scholarships. One name that fans may want to get to know is C.J. Rahming, because he could be one of the ones who end up with several offers.
Prior to the arrival of former Buckhannon-Upsur head coach Eddie Vincent there wasn't a lot to be optimistic for at Weston (W.Va.) Lewis County. Vincent has turned around the Minutemen program thanks in part to star athlete C.J. Rahming. Most people outside of West Virginia would say who? Watch the highlights of C.J. Rahming and you could see why some may refer to him as the hidden gem in this class coming out of West Virginia. In three seasons, Rahming has run for more than 4,000 yards. During his junior season, Rahming returned five punts and kicks for touchdowns. He reports a (4.65) forty time, but Rahming has game speed and his (4.1) shuttle time indicate he is capable of running faster. Rahming, who runs out of the "Wing-T" has the ability to make people miss and he is as good at it as any running back we have seen on the East Coast.
