I have to tell ya a story about why I adored Terry so very Much.
Lyn and I have been friends for a VERY VERY long time from over on Black n Gold Pride Club.. A Couple of years ago, Terry got very sick and was hospitalized for a long time and Lyn was worried about him and would call for some nursely advise and someone to talk to, and Terry eventually got better and was able to go home.
Lyn had a cunundrum though as she had been planning for a year, a tailgate party in Pittsburgh for the Club, and she didn't know if she should go or not because Terry had just gotten home. Terry even wanted her to go saying that he would be fine. She also needed a little break from all the stress and worrying. I had planned on actually attending the tailgate that year, but a Hurricane named Ivan blew through here and turned our world upside down, and I was not going to be able to go..
Sooo I offered to call Terry every day while Lyn was in Pittsburgh because I knew she was gonna be busy but worried about him, and she didn't want Terry to be lonely. Terry thought it was a sweet jesture and we talked about my new kittens and how the hurricane had changed the city that I loved so much and we just chit chatted every day.
What a delightful, friendly, happy, positive human being.. I fell in love with Terry and deemed him my Teddy Bear. After that, I would call to speak with Lyn and I would chit chat with Terry sometimes as much as I would talk to Lyn.
My heart hurts knowing that this wonderful person is no longer with us and I never even met him in person.. I can not even imagine how hard it will be for the people that were a part of his daily life.
My heart really goes out for you and Matt and your family.

My condolences to you, Lynn. We never know what our hurdles in life will be or when they will happen. the strong grieve and are depessed for a while and then move forward. It's easier said than done, but there is so much in life to be joyfull about. Be thankful for the time you had together and be happy with what your future brings.
