Aaric Murray, a 6-foot-10, 250-pound center, is expected to announce he will transfer from La Salle University to play basketball at West Virginia during a ceremony today in Philadelphia.
Murray's advisor, Howard Griffith, however, said on Friday the player was still deciding between the Mountaineers and Oklahoma State.
"He's got a box of papers from Oklahoma State and he's got a box from West Virginia," said Griffith. "[Today] he'll reveal his decision. We are crossing our T's and dotting our I's."
The announcement will be made at 2 p.m. at the Gambrel Rec Center. Murray averaged 15.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks last season for 15-18 La Salle. After the transfer he'll have to sit out a season, but will be able to practice with the team of his choice. Kansas was also recruiting Murray.
