the sportsline poll doesnt really matter, the coaches poll is the one that matters right now. I figured that OK might getclose to us but never thought the would jump us and get 18 points over us.

We also got jumped by FLORIDA in the coaches poll.. God.. do you know ill that makes me?
Florida played... a 1-aa team in week one and TROY this weened and they barely beat the spread, just like we barely beat the spread.

I cant understand it either mj, its pure bs that the voting of the media and coaches makes us mad. I dont undertand the polls either concerning USF and CINN. UNREAL.

This shit PISSES ME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think ANYBODY should have slid in the rankings this week. There were not many impressive performances in the top 20 outside of LSU, Oklahoma, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, and Oregon.
How can FLORIDA still be ranked ahead of us after their horrible showing against TROY??? How can Ohio State keep their high ranking after a terrible game against AKRON??? Wisconsin almost lost to UNLV!!!! So many teams looks MUCH sloppier than WVU, yet we were one of the few who dropped despite a win. Unreal.

You know the more I stand back and look at this the more I dont mind a 1 spot slid in a poll, its the 2nd week of the season and as long as we keep winning it will work itself out in the end. I think also alot of people are concerned because of the fact we are not looked upon as a contender in the past and we are afraid this might happen if we go undefeated and dont get a title shot. Lets all step back take a breath and let it unfold as it does.

Also, the fact that Vag Tech is still ranked and USF & Cincy isn't pisses me off too. Hawaii had a HORRIBLE looking game against LOUISANA TECH!! WHO?  USF beat the #17 team in the country. They didn't squeak by with a 1 point win to a team no one has heard of!! Texas A&M needed 3 OTs to get past FRESNO STATE... It's time for the BE to get some damn respect!! |

Lets all step back take a breath and let it unfold as it does. LSU has a few tough games left this year, but they look like a great team!! South Carolina should play them tough, as will Florida. Other than that, they have a fairly clean run to an undefeated season. It's too early to say Arkansas is any good, so I'm not including them as a tough game yet. Oklahomas only tough game is against Texas, who hasn't looked that great in either of their first two games. They have a decent shot at running the table, too. This is why I'm upset about being jumped in the polls. Since the BE gets no respect, it'll be hard for WVU to make up lost ground a jump a Big 12 or SEC or Pac-10 team if they are also undefeated. |

I'm usually the last guy in the world to be negative, but I've been partying all day and I've got a good buzz and I'm pissed because USF should be ranked in the top 25, Cincy should be closer, and WVU should still be #3. Dennis, I don't know what else the BE can do to get respect.. SF Beat Auburn last night.. Cincy beat Oregon State.. WVU beat the spread.. Rutgers looked great against Navy. EVERYONE IN THE BE has won ALL our games so far except for 'cuse..
I'm in Doug's camp on this one.. Its an outrage.
