God, its still cold here but the sun is shining on the swamp that'ts my back yard.. I am seriously going to have to plant a cypress tree back there in one area.. Its flooded 2 times in the past 3 months.. My back yard HAD 5 cypresses before Ivan, and now there are only 2. They absorb LOTS of water and they are actualy VERY pretty too.
I am kidless this weekend.., Whoo Hoo!! don't know exactly what I am gonna do to enjoy it.

How cold is it there? These past few days, I wish for 40 degrees. This morning when I left for work it was 12 outside, that was at 5:15am, it is warmed up some but not much. I just wanna be able to wash my salt ridden car sometime soon. Hopefully later this week.

When I got up this AM it was 32 degrees with a wind chill of 22.. The wind is still whipping but again, its sunny.Current weather... 43 degrees with a wind chill of 35.
For people that spend 6 months of their lives a year at 90 degrees... Its FUCKING cold.
I remember taking the car to the car wash in January to get all the salt and shit off it and as you're spraying the hot water it freezes on the car. So I understand and really remember.. I'm just a cold floridian bitching..
At least next Saturday for the Senior bowl, its supposed to be 65 degrees! Whoo Hoo!

I wish I had one! That's one of the requirements for the house that I'm someday going to buy in WVa, it has to have a hottub or room for me to put one in!

I'm already not liking how far Ryan has to drive from his (new ) house to where school is.. Its about 15 miles through BRUTAL traffic.. Noth side to the west side.. I LOATHE it. I'm an emotional wreck already.

Today is Friday for me, once I get out of work I am meeting an Uncle who is in town for the day. We are going to go to Pentagon City Mall for lunch, and hang out for a while, after that I am heading home (it will be rush hour YUK), once home I am not sure what I am going to do yet.

I'm an emotional wreck already. I hate traffic also. Where I live the Metro is 10 miles away, in the morning when I leave for work, it takes 10-12 minutes to leave the house and get on the train. In the evening on my home, that 10 miles takes at least 20 minutes, but usually 30 or more. It is a nightmare.

I'm pretty sure that the worst pensacola traffic is not near as severe as DC traffic.. But Davis Highway and the 1=10 interchanges are a huge cluster and Ryan lives right there at north Davis.. I could SHOOT pete for buying a house so far away.

Chicago traffic and driving times rated 2nd worst in the country. When I had my home decorating business, I figured 45-75 minutes each way, depending on whose house I was working at. Now I have a 5-minute drive to the train station, 35-minute train ride and, walk 6 blocks to my office. MUCH BETTER!

The worst traffic I ever saw was in, of all places, Gatlinburg, TN. Not just rush hour either, it's from the early mornings until well after midnight. They only charge a quarter for the trolley system trying to get people to leave their cars. The morning of the UL@WVU game in 2005, it took me an hour and a half to go the five miles between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I got off at the first stop in town, and beat the trolley to the sports bar where I watched the game.
