Fried chicken and potato salad from Amish place at Reading Terminal Market for dinner tonight. OMG, it has to be the best fried chicken in the world! You've not been down here to the deep south have you? I've never had any better chicken than in p'cola

But you'll still have some fun, and prolly by the time ya come back, you'll understand why people live here even through the blistering heat and humidity of summer.
Allow me to be the first to welcome you to the most awesome season in the south.. Spring..

Hah thanks MJ. I'm looking forward to spring! But I have to admit, it feels DAMN good to be back in Chicago, despite the 4 or 5 inches of snow on the ground and the 28 degree temps. I am still in love with this place and have missed it dearly over the past 5 months.

LOL Doug, I can understand that! The only time I was in Chicago was in January after I had been down here a few years.. but I still had a GREAT time. I remember flying into o'hare and the pilot announced his final appoach and I looked out ther window and ALL I could see was white. Near touchdown, I could see a white on the ground and had to remind myself.. "Duh.. its snowing, moron" I had a GREEAT time there, and I wasn't even FROM there.. Have an AWESOME trip. I'm sure you know the GOOD nooks and crannies that the tourists don't know.

Not going so well tonight. Two employees due at 10pm, no show, no call. Hope I can find someone to come in, or I'm gonna be dead by 2am.
