Alright, this story takes place over yesterday and today:
Yesterday: I get to the Undergrad Advising Services Center at 10:20... the woman I was assigned to meet with says: "I cannot meet with you. You need to meet with Julian Nguyen, who is the SOS Advisor." I'm about ready to go on a rant about how WVU's bureaucracy screws people, but she said, "Let's go get you an appointment with Mr. Nguyen..." So, we head back to the front desk, and apparently I was previously given wrong info, Mr. Nguyen was NOT booked up like I was originally told... so me and the woman went to the IT guy and he got into the system and got me an appointment for Friday (today.) He told me that since I had some time on my hands, to go to Financial Aid to get an appeal form and to go to Disability Services. So, I get the form, then head down to Disability Services...
So, I met with the Disability Services counselor and he reveals to me that I only have 22 hours left until I graduate. My previous Political Science advisor totally steered me a different direction... I was convinced I had 30-40 hours left to go... he also sees where I'm struggling with my Foreign Language Requirement, and is going to recommend substitute courses for me instead. I'm also going to be tested for ADHD through a University Doctor. After I got out of that meeting with the Disability Doc, I hauled ass to the Mountainlair as I only paid for one hour and didn't want to get tagged by the parking attendant. ---------------------------------------- TODAY
Today, I leave work early to go to meet with Mr. Nguyen... Mr. Nguyen is a nice guy. We got my schedule made, the academic plan ironed out, and now we're on our way to appeal Financial Aid. I'm meeting with him on Monday. The meeting went really well, and I think I will be fully ready to go to Morgantown this fall. Just gotta turn in my Financial Aid papers on Monday morning before my 2nd meeting with Mr. Nguyen.

Well, the final piece of the puzzle is now in place...
Yesterday morning shortly after 10am I turned in papers to get my Financial Aid re-instated for the upcoming academic year. They have 30 days, which is plenty of time before school starts.
I also have an appointment next Monday morning (the 27th) with a counselor from the Division of Rehab Services here in Morgantown to discuss my learning disability. I hate even revealing my disability, but at this point, I should just acknowledge it and seek the help I should have went after several years ago.

Thanks for the kind words and support, everyone!
Pretty much, I had to give a written explanation of why I am appealing to get my Financial Aid back, and also explain that I am taking part in the WVU "Stay off of Suspension" program. Like the woman told me, the Financial Aid Appeals Committee has 30 days to come up with a decision. I hope it's in my favor.
